We’ve been talking about this since the beginning and now we are finally ready to go ahead and make the official announcement. The Green Bean Café will be hosting the first of our weekly Open Mic Nights on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 7PM.
Our Open Mic Night will be an all ages event. Depending on the turnout, we may not be able to accommodate everyone, but don’t worry this is a weekly event so everyone will get their chance.
If you would like to perform, leave a comment below so we have some idea of how many people to expect. On the night of the event, bring your guitar, trumpet, bongo, harmonica, etc. and show up early to get on the ticket.
Interested in spreading the word or trying to figure out a slick way to invite your friends to see you perform? Come by the café and we can get you a copy of our poster that you can put up in your dorm, facility building or use a few stitched together to form a trendy and biodegradable jacket.

We are excited to let you know that Michou will be performing on Tuesday, September 15 right here at the Green Bean Café! The party starts at 7:00PM and the best part of all is that it is an 100% free, all ages show!
Early word is that we could fill up fast so you’ll want to get here early.

As of 7:30AM this morning the Green Bean Café is open for business! I’ve been trying to post this little clip all morning but things have been a little hectic around here. Our hours are:
Monday: 7:30AM – 6:00PM
Tuesday – Friday: 7:30AM – 11:00PM
Saturday: 11:00AM – 11:00PM
Sunday: Closed

We want the Green Bean to display some to best local art in the city and be a great venue for local musicians. To that end, we have some large white walls that need to be filled and 20′ x 20′ stage that needs musicians. If you are interested in displaying your art, performing on our stage, or having your CD played in the café leave us comment below or email us at info@greenbeancoffee.ca.
