We're back! See you Monday morning at 8AM!

Open Mic Tonight!

Posted: April 29th, 2010 | Author: Ben | Filed under: News | Tags: , | No Comments »

Open Mic PosterEvery Thursday night at 9:00PM, the Green Bean Café hosts Open Mic night.

Open Mic Night is an all ages event and we have all kinds of people perform. There are musicians and poets, seasoned performers and people who set foot on a stage for the first time.

Some nights we have a pretty long list of people who would like to perform, so be sure to get here early if you want to guarantee yourself a chance to perform.  Depending on the turnout, we may not be able to accommodate everyone, so show up early.

Interested in spreading the word or trying to figure out a slick way to invite your friends to see you perform? Come by the café and we can get you a copy of our poster that you can put up in your dorm, facility building or use a few stitched together to form a trendy and biodegradable jacket.

If Facebook is your thing, there is also a Facebook event that you can add yourself to to get updates on this and other events. Speaking of Facebook, we also have a fan page.

Get practising!
